Map to New Hope Community Church

FROM OXFORD AND THE A4074

Follow the A4074 all the way to Reading. As you come into the suburb of Caversham, come down the hill to the traffic lights and turn right. You will go over a bridge over the Thames and come to a roundabout – go straight on. Then take the second turning on the right into York Road. (If you reach a second roundabout, you’ve gone too far!)

You will soon see New Hope Community Church on the right hand side, with a school playground opposite on the left. For bookings at evenings and weekends, parking may be available in the school playground.

FROM THE M4 WEST

Turn left off the M4 at Junction 12 onto the A4 towards Reading and stay on the A4 for about 4 miles, heading for Reading town centre. You will go past Sainsbury’s, Esso/Tesco Express, and a large park (all on the left) and a Beefeater pub on the right.

After about 3 miles the speed limit changes from 40mph to 30mph (by the Beefeater pub). Keep on the same road. About a mile after this there are traffic lights at a crossroads –go straight ahead. The road goes downhill, merging from two lanes into one, to a large roundabout.

Turn left at the roundabout down a sliproad signposted Caversham. Join the dual carriageway at the bottom of the sliproad and stay in the inside lane.

Go straight on at the traffic lights, under the railway bridge and past the fire station on the left. Keep in the left hand lane and bear left at the roundabout

Take the second turning on the left into York Road, immediately after a pedestrian crossing.

You will soon see New Hope Community Church on the right hand side, with a school playground opposite on the left. For bookings at evenings and weekends, parking may be available in the school playground.

FROM READING TRAIN STATION (About 10 minutes walk)

Turn right out of the main station entrance and go down the hill to the traffic lights. Turn right, under the railway bridge, past Royal Mail to the roundabout. Bear left then take the second left into York Road. New Hope is a short distance along, on the right hand side.
